Parent alienation happens when one parent maliciously tells the child negative things about the other parent, resulting in the child rejecting the other parent

Parental alienation is a form of emotional abuse in which one parent uses strategies to turn a child against the other parent. This can include making negative comments about the other parent, withholding information about the other parent, and encouraging the child to reject the other parent.
