Retaliatory termination due to employee exercising their legal rights

Termination by an employer of an employee in retaliation for informing a governmental agency of some illegality the employer has committed.

This type of retaliation is mostly seen when an employer fires an employee because they made a claim with the labor board or the EEOC.
