In some states, automobile liability insurance companies must follow the state’s no-fault program. Under a no-fault program, an injured driver can collect from their own insurance company regardless of who is at fault for causing the accident. The purpose of no-fault car insurance is to ensure that injury and property claims are paid promptly and without having to litigate fault.
