Demonstrative evidence assists the fact-finder in their understanding of what is being presented and its evidentiary value

Evidence that demonstrates a quality of truth about a relevant part of the case.

Demonstrative evidence can include diagrams, photos,x-rays, videotapes, movies, sound recordings, diagrams, forensic animation, maps, drawings, graphs, animation, simulations, models, and any other object or rendering that can simplify or illustrate an evidentiary issue in the case.

This form of evidence is meant to clarify the facts that are otherwise considered hard to explain verbally. Such evidence assists the fact finders in their determination of the weight of the evidence.
