« Back to Glossary Index

In personal injury cases, a CT (Computed Tomography) scan is a diagnostic imaging technique using X-rays and computer processing to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body, helping to identify and assess the severity of injuries like fractures, internal bleeding, and organ damage

Special Note:

CT scans provide much more detail than X-rays, offering cross-sectional views and 3D reconstructions, and are better at visualizing soft tissues, internal organs, and complex fractures.
