A plaintiff’s civil complaint is a legal pleading that commences the litigation process when filed with the court and served on the defendant

A Civil Complaint is a legal pleading filed with the court by a plaintiff alleging monetary damages against a defendant based on specific allegations of wrongful conduct, including but not limited to negligence or intentional acts arising out of the defendant’s conduct and which was the legal and factual cause of plaintiff’s injuries and financial loss.
